WHAT CAN I GIVE YOU IN RETURN, O KRSNA ?

O Krsna, what is your heavenly pastime?

In Vaikuntha, how do you perform activities sublime?

When do You work, when do You enjoy leisure?

When do You rest or enact activities of pleasure? 

To provide every creature his daily food, You never forget

O Vishnu, You ensure that everyone’s material needs are fully met

Be it an ant, a whale, or any other being of material creation

Each and every one is looked after by your grace and disposition 

Whereas every creature has assumed a material body due to past karma

Your body is spiritual, O Narayan, because you are beyond kaal and karma

Kaal and karma are both under the supreme control of Your holy writ

You are the master and last refuge of both matter and spirit

You had descended to earth, O Krsna, O supreme Lord and Master

By Your own internal potencies, of the various devtas the only Controller   

Though at such times, You occasionally assume a human form

To give Your devotees pleasure, wonderful pastimes You do perform

CAN ASTROLOGY CHANGE YOUR KARMA?

Sanätana Gosvämé was a principal associate of Lord Caitanya Mahäprabhu. Before becoming a renunciate Sanätana was a prominent minister in the government of Nawab Hussain Shah of Bengal. However he decided to resign his position and ran away from custody. He was travelling with an assistant who carried with him eight gold coins. As they lodged in a roadside inn the owner came to know through an astrologer that the patron has gold on his person. That night the owner made plans to kill them both and take their gold. But Sanätana suspected that the owner was behaving in too friendly a way and decided to surrender the coins and in this way saved his life. Just five hundred years ago a common innkeeper in India had access to astrologer insights which were remarkably accurate.

Moving on to the topic of karma, we learn from the Bhagavad-gétä that only in the human form of life can we change our karma. How is it possible? Certainly it is humanly impossible but Lord Krishna assures that when we surrender to Him, He can change our karma.

Surrender to the Lord!

There are times in life when things go wrong. They go wrong by themselves and you cannot do anything about it. You may have tried many ways to solve your problems but your efforts were in vain. At the end of it, you just sit back, shattered and disappointed. So what is the solution? Surrender. And surrender not to the situation but to the Lord. Always remember, Lord is always there for you no matter what. Why are you thinking that you are in control of your situation? Keep in mind, God is in control of every situation. God’s will is the final will. If something is not happening do not be sad. On the contrary, think that it’s not happening because there’s something much better in store for you. And it will happen at the right time. Just be patient. When you surrender to the Lord, your pain will reduce. You will feel light. You will feel as if there’s someone there for you. You will sit back, relaxed. 

Always remember, God loves you. All you have to do is love Him. Trust Him. And things will settle. Haribol!

Questions and Answers

Q : What is the difference between the original Krishna and Diety?

A  : There is no difference. Diety is like the trial version of the software, and Krishna is like the full version. The trial version is identical to the full version but because it is given free of cost some of its features are locked.( For example, the Diety does not talk and dance, etc.)

When you are happy after using the trial version and wish to get a full version, you need to purchase it, and the price of chanting Hare Krishna and serving the Vaishnavas as your life and soul. We were all downloaded into this material world because of the virus of desires and attachments. In Satya-yuga we had to manually delete all the viruses and desires one by one, reboot after reboot (life after life)
